Discover NANU Gallery, a contemporary art gallery and home to KMcW Studio, tucked into the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in downtown Old Fort, North Carolina. Under the guidance of multidisciplinary artist and designer Katie McWeeney, NANU Gallery presents quarterly curated exhibitions, hosts community events and workshops, and features a locally-made art store. Our shared clay and artmaking studio offers learning opportunities for individuals and groups, kiln firing services, and open studio time.
Born from a threefold vision, NANU is a space that combines nature and nurture through art-making, honors our ancestors (inspired by Katie’s Nana) through fostering community connections, and celebrates the spirit of Robin Williams by encouraging curiosity, truth, and joy in everyday life. NANU, NANU!
Our passion lies in showcasing the extraordinary diversity of artists from Western North Carolina and the wider US Southeastern region. We believe in illuminating the profound richness of their work, striving always to make the experience of sharing and creating art accessible for everyone.
